NEWS RELEASE: Mutual Of Omaha Relocates Wilmington Office

Wilmington, N.C. – October 2, 2012 – Cape Fear Commercial, LLC is pleased to announce Mutual of Omaha’s relocation to the North State Bank building on the corner of Eastwood Road and Military Cutoff Road.

Vin Wells and Brian Eckel, both partners of Cape Fear Commercial, worked with the Landlord and Mutual to build out a customized office space for Mutual on the second floor of the building.

“There was a concern that we might not be able to find an ideal space for our new office due to the fact that we had such a tight timeline to work with,” said Ed Elmore with Mutual of Omaha. “Thankfully that was not the case, with the help of Brian and Vin we were able to efficiently and effectively negotiate a deal that will have us in a brand new office space by year’s end, tailored to fit our exact needs.”

Upon completion, Mutual will occupy half of the second floor of the building, leaving approximately 5,411 square feet of shell space on the second floor and 9,288 square feet on the third floor available for lease.

Cape Fear Commercial was hired in May to lease the second and third floors of the building.
