Two Downtown Parking Lots For Sale

Two parking lots in the heart of downtown Wilmington are up for sale — one of them the site of a development that never got off the ground.

Developer Jim McFarland had planned a high-rise condo and retail project for the site at 119 Market St. seven years ago.

That is now for sale for $295,000, said Brian Eckel of Cape Fear Commercial who with Hank Miller has the listing.

The second property is at 126 Princess St. and is priced at $505,000.

Both lots are bank-owned, Eckel said, and could be used for office, residential, hotel or mixed use.
