Cape Fear Seafood Expands To Southport

Cape Fear Seafood Company, a popular Wilmington-based restaurant chain with six locations, will soon be opening their seventh in Southport.

The new restaurant will be the anchor tenant for The Shoppes at Dutchman Village, a 30,000-square-foot mixed use center located off Southport-Supply Road SE (Highway 211).

Cape Fear Commercial’s Bryce Morrison and Lindsey Hess are overseeing leasing for The Shoppes, with construction scheduled to conclude next spring.

Cape Fear Seafood Company, founded in 2008, offers fresh fish, hand-cut steaks, steamed shrimp, crab legs, scallops and Calabash-style lightly fried offerings. Signature entrees include Cape Fear Shrimp & Grits, which was highlighted in Our State Magazine as one of five to try in the state of North Carolina and voted Raleigh’s best.
