Lindsey Hess is a Senior Vice President of Brokerage at Cape Fear Commercial, specializing in investment sales and Class-A office properties. With over 19 years of experience in commercial real estate, she provides strategic guidance and brokerage services across all product types for a diverse client base.

With a background in finance, Lindsey brings a unique perspective to the acquisition and disposition of income-producing assets. Over the course of her career, she has participated in investment sales exceeding $125 million across multiple asset classes.

As one of the region’s leading office specialists, Lindsey has been involved in many of Wilmington’s most notable office projects—successfully pre-leasing ground-up developments and representing investors in the sale and disposition of income producing assets. Since 2018, she has completed more than 350 transactions totaling over $200 million and has been recognized as a top producer in both office leasing and investment sales.

Earlier in her career, Lindsey served on Cape Fear Commercial’s development team, overseeing projects from underwriting through delivery, including Class-A multifamily, office, and retail build-to-suit developments. Prior to joining the firm, she managed real estate assets for private equity funds at TriMont Real Estate Advisors in Atlanta and began her career in external audit with PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York.

Lindsey graduated magna cum laude from the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a B.S. in Business Administration, concentrating in finance and accounting. A former collegiate tennis player, she was a four-year ITA Academic All-American.

She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the UNCW Seahawk Club (Executive Track), chairs the Technology and PR Committee for SIOR, and is an active committee member at the Country Club of Landfall. Lindsey lives in Wilmington with her husband, Johan, and enjoys playing golf and traveling whenever time allows.
