Cape Fear Commercial is proud to announce that McKim & Creed has signed a lease for more than 22,000 square feet on the eighth floor of Skyline Center, located at 929 North Front Street in downtown Wilmington, marking one of the largest office leases in the Cape Fear region this year.

Lindsey Hess, Julia Lackey and Paul Loukas with Cape Fear Commercial represented the City of Wilmington in this lease transaction.  Mathew Cooke with Davis Moore Capital represented McKim & Creed.

Founded in Wilmington in 1978, McKim & Creed has grown into one of the Southeast’s largest engineering and surveying firms, with offices across multiple states.  Currently operating at 243 N Front Street, they’ve been firmly rooted downtown for decades, and this lease continues their commitment to the area.

“We are thrilled to have helped secure McKim & Creed’s future in downtown Wilmington at the Skyline Center” said Hess who went on to say, “this is the 15th lease signed at the building since Cape Fear Commercial began its marketing efforts in 2023.”

McKim & Creed’s current location at 243 N Front Street is also be marketed for sale or lease by Cape Fear Commercial’s Keith Austin.
