David Mann serves as a Partner for Cape Fear Development. David is responsible for the sourcing and acquisition of new and existing multi-family opportunities across the Carolinas, Georgia, and Virginia. In this role, he ensures that new development projects progress efficiently through the entitlement, design, permitting, and construction to deliver efficiently developed, stabilized assets. Additionally, David oversees equity and debt project financing responsibilities and ongoing investor relations with both prospective and current capital partners.
After nearly 22 successful years in Finance with Raymond James, David brings with him a deep network of institutional relationships and a strong understanding of capital markets. This knowledge supports David’s efforts for developing new investment partner relationships and exploring fundraising strategies to provide equity and debt financing options for the ownership of residential rental properties.

A native of Fort Worth, Texas, David is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and a Masters in Business Administration from Georgia State University. David resides in Wilmington with his wife, Louise, and their four sons, William, McCullough, Carter, and Henry.
