County Completes Acquisition Of Downtown Building

New Hanover County has completed the acquisition of 319 N. Third Street — the former Bank of America building in Downtown Wilmington. 

Paul Loukas and Hank Miller, of Cape Fear Commercial, represented the county in the purchase of the building. 

The five-story, 55,000-square-foot building will be utilized by Cape Fear Community College to expand its nursing and allied health programs. The site’s proximity to CFCC’s main campus made it an ideal fit for the community college, as CFCC looks to strengthen the educational and employment pipelines for healthcare workers in the region.
