Madeline Eckel is an Administrative Assistant at Cape Fear Commercial, serving as a foundational support to the firm’s operational infrastructure and client experience. As the primary point of coordination for office operations and administrative workflows, Madeline helps maintain internal systems, streamline requests, and support cross-departmental efficiency across brokerage, development, property management, and leadership teams. She also assists with company marketing and branding initiatives, helping ensure consistent communication, organization, and presentation across client-facing materials and firmwide efforts. Madeline plays an essential role in keeping the firm organized, responsive, and positioned for continued growth.
Before joining Cape Fear Commercial, Madeline gained valuable professional experience at the Wilmington Chamber of Commerce, where she served as the Marketing and Member Engagement Specialist. In that role, she was responsible for driving membership growth and engagement, supporting communication and marketing initiatives, overseeing CRM reporting, and helping deliver high-quality service to members. Prior to her position at the Chamber, Madeline completed internships with Cape Fear Commercial and Live Oak Bank, and she also served as Advertising Manager for The Tiger, Clemson University’s student newspaper.
A native of Wilmington, Madeline earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Clemson University, where she made the President’s List, participated in the Honors College, and was actively involved with Tri Delta and Clemson Women in Business.
Outside of the office, Madeline enjoys surfing, spending time on the water, and all activities with her golden retriever.
