Cape Fear Development is pleased to share a major milestone at Proximity Watermark, our riverfront luxury apartment community in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Construction has progressed to a stage that now allows for hard hat tours, welcoming prospective residents and partners on site for an early look at the community. The project is being delivered by Cape Fear Construction Group, serving as general contractor and overseeing execution from the ground up. Interest has been strong as visitors experience the project’s design, waterfront setting, and signature amenities firsthand, including the amenitized pier and custom poolside cabanas. Leasing is now underway, and early feedback on the community’s views, interior finishes, and overall quality has been overwhelmingly positive.

First move-ins are anticipated for March 2026, marking an exciting next chapter as Proximity Watermark transitions from construction to an active, vibrant community. We look forward to sharing additional updates as the project continues to come to life.
